Gender-Sensitive Economic Recovery and Resilience in Asia Conference

In March 2023, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Inclusion Economics at Yale University and the Economic Growth Center is holding a two-day, in-person conference in Tokyo to understand what the research says about women’s economic activity in the region, the factors that enable and constrain it, and how the research speaks to pandemic recovery and gender-sensitive responses to future shocks. The conference will facilitate sharing of new research and discussion and dialogue between researchers and policy decision makers on potential policy responses to identified challenges.

Women, Ordeal & Opportunity through the Pandemic

On July 22, 2022, Inclusion Economics India Center brought together affiliated researchers, journalists, and policymakers in its inaugural policy dialogue. Titled "Mahamari aur Auraton ki Aapbeeti" the event presented new finding and sparked discussion on the experience of Indian women through the pandemic, with a focus on their economic opportunities.
