Charting the Future of Economics, Governance, and Economic Development in the United States and Beyond was a mini-conference examining the future direction of multidisciplinary research in history, economics, and public policy in areas of research influenced by the publications of Professor Naomi Lamoreaux. The conference focused on several areas to which Professor Lamoreaux has made significant contributions: organization of firms and corporations; innovation and patents; and archival research. The event brought together esteemed economists, historians, law experts, and policy experts and emphasized interdisciplinary collaboration and research methods. This conference included a substantial component on the United States but not limited to the United States and cover themes with broader implications both in terms of disciplines and scope.
