Russell Morton is a Postdoctoral Associate within the Markets and Development research initiative at the Economic Growth Center at Yale. His research interests focus on understanding how the organization of production in low-income countries affects how efficiently supply chains operate and how they distribute the value of the economic gains they create. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2024 and his B.A. in Economics from Princeton University in 2014. He will be an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Rochester Simon Business School starting in 2025.
