Maria Storch, Pierson College class of 2028, is a rising sophomore studying Computer Science, Math and Economics. She hopes to use economics and computer science in research that helps communities, whether on a local or international level, and is especially interested in using machine learning in research. Maria works with YIE through the Scarf program and is focusing on payments for ecosystem services and floods/early warning systems research.
