Director of Research Communication and Engagement

Jeff Mosenkis is an economics to English translator who focuses on explaining the implications of research to non-economists— often policymakers, journalists, or the public. He began at New York Public Radio on the Freakonomics podcast, then came to New Haven where he co-founded and spent a decade growing the policy and communications department at Innovations for Poverty Action, which garnered national media coverage of randomized evaluations. Most recently, he was Director of Communications for the Social Science Research Council. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and Human Development from the University of Chicago.
