ADBI Visiting Fellow Application
The Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Inclusion Economics at Yale University, and the Economic Growth Center are accepting applications for a Visiting Fellow with ADBI. The Visiting Fellow will have the opportunity to seek feedback from ADBI staff for ongoing research while interacting with staff in Tokyo, Japan.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a citizen of an ADB member country
- Must be a PhD student at Yale University
- Should be conducting research on one or more of ADBI’s current research topics
Conditions:
- Must be able to spend a minimum of two weeks at the ADBI Tokyo office; duration beyond that is flexible, based upon budget, research needs, and approval from ADBI
- Outputs in consultation and agreement with ADBI; at minimum one draft working paper that will be published as an ADBI Working Paper
Remuneration and Benefits:
- A lump-sum stipend of $5,000 will be paid to the Visiting Fellow to cover expenses incurred while visiting Tokyo
- Roundtrip airfare to Tokyo in economy class along with limited local travel and accommodation
- Office space at ADBI
