Viola Fur is an intern providing support to the Yale Economic Growth Center's Gender and Growth Gaps project, where she is currently investigating global divergences in economic growth trajectories with a gender lens. She is a Master in Public Policy student at the Jackson School of Global Affairs, specializing in governance and development.
Prior to Yale, Viola worked at IDinsight in Senegal on projects promoting evidence-based decision-making with governments, NGOs and the private sector. She has also worked in development consulting.
Viola holds a First Class Honours degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
