Greg Larson is a freelance writer, editor, and consultant based in Washington, DC who serves as a consultant editor and writer for the Yale Economic Growth Center and Inclusion Economics. Previously, he served as an economist and senior advisor at the US Treasury Department. He started his career in publishing, then helped establish a nonprofit that runs education and community development programs in South Sudan. He studied literature and creative writing as an undergraduate at Stanford, then received a master’s in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School with a focus on political and economic development.
