Get involved in international development at Yale!
The field of Development Economics combines economic theory with new tools and methodologies to understand poverty, inequality, and improve lives in low- and middle-income countries. The launch of the 2022 Academic Year brings a number of new opportunities for Yale students to get involved.
- Apply for an internship at Yale Economic Growth Center. Positions open to undergraduate and graduate candidates include Data Science Intern, Development Economics Communications Intern, and Economic History Research & Communications Intern.
- Apply for an internship at Inclusion Economics at Yale University. The research initiative is currently recruiting a Data Intern, and will have internships based in India and Nepal open in Summer 2023.
- Join the Salus Populi Foundation, a new student society where undergrads can engage with development economics faculty and research programs.
We invite Yale students to visit our table at the Student Organizations Bazaar Sunday, September 4, 12-2pm at the Schwarzman Center Commons, where you can speak with representatives from EGC, Inclusion Economics, and the Salus Populi Foundation. To hear about future opportunities, sign up for our mailing list.
