Get involved in international development at Yale!
The field of Development Economics combines economic theory with new tools and methodologies to understand poverty, inequality, and improve lives in low- and middle-income countries. The launch of the 2023 Academic Year brings a number of new opportunities for Yale students to get involved.
- Apply for an internship at Yale Economic Growth Center and Inclusion Economics. Positions open to undergraduate and graduate candidates include Data Science Intern, Development Economics Communications Intern, and Economic History Research & Communications Intern.
- Join the Salus Populi Foundation (SPF), a student-run club where undergrads engage with development economics faculty, organize visits by prominent economists, and participate in a fellowship program. To learn about SPF, subscribe to the newsletter and read an article about the club's inaugural year written by the founders.
